eGo Ce5 Electronic Cigarette Clearomizer
The eGo Ce5 Clearomizer is an upgrade to the Ce4 and Ce5+ clearomizers. eGo Ce5 offers an excellent, affordable vaping experience. While the eGo Ce5 produces a great flavor and vapor. The benefits remain the same as the CE4 which has the clear tank and the long wicks so you can see how much e liquid remains in the tank.
Cleaning is simple and has not been known to leak since the new design. Unlike the CE4, it has a rebuildable tank system. Meaning you can take it apart and change the wick inside and continue to vape with the same clearomizers instead of throwing it away and purchasing a new one. Like the CE4, it should last approximately two to four weeks depending upon vaping experience. It holds about 1.6 ml of e liquid.
Comparisons:
Compared to the eGo Ce4, the newer eGo Ce5 has a spring loaded post to make sure there is a proper connection with the battery. The Clearomizers have two o rings where the outer tubing connects to prevent leaking. It is a single coil with a 2.4 ohm replaceable wick.
Both the eGo Ce5 is very similar to the Ce4 but has a changeable head system. Clearomizer coils and wicks can be changed very quickly and very easily when needed. Because the head system is changeable, you are able to switch flavors of e liquid without any hint of previous flavors overlapping.
Some Ce5’s are wickless, they do not have a wick system. The wickless eGo Ce5 has four holes in the center tube to make sure the coil has plenty of e liquid to vape.
The changeable head system does not work with other devices nor will other heads work on the eGo Ce5. The drip tips, however, are interchangeable in that you can use almost any 510 drip tip or any ego clearomizer eGo Clearomizer drip tip adapter. The resistance rated is 2.4 ohms at the coil. The eGo Ce5 works with eGo eGo-T/eGo-C batteries but does not fit the 510/510-T batteries.
Refilling:
Clearomizers are easy to fill and can be done quickly on both the Ce4 & Ce5. Simply unscrew the drip tip from the clearomizer and fill the outer chamber with about 1.6 ml of e liquid. Drop directly into the chamber from the dropper rather than using a needle and syringe. Make sure you do not get any e liquid into the center tube. Screw the drip tip on and wait a for the e liquid to absorb into the coil before vaping.
Changing the head system is just as easy as filling it. Unscrew the drip tip from the clearomizer and pour out any remaining e liquid. Unscrew the tube from the base and the head from the base. Now, simply screw the new head on and reassemble the eGo Ce5. You are ready to vape!
